I Promised a Baby Ele Video!

We watched this sweet baby elephant as we had breakfast at the hide. You are going to love this guy!

We are on our way to Kang, Botswana tomorrow for an overnight at Kalahari Rest campsite, and then onward to Mabuasehube for nine nights wild camping with the lions. Mabua is incredibly isolated, so you won’t hear from us while we’re there. We do have a satellite phone, though, in case we run into problems.

Last night and tonight we’ve been staying just outside Gaborone at an adorable Airbnb near Mokolodi Nature Reserve. It’s been busy since we got in yesterday–rearranging storage in the rig, organizing stuff after our stay at the lodge, and then today was all day provisioning–Woolworth’s for food, Nama Tota Butchery in Phakalane (Mowana Park north of Gaborone) for our braai meats. We’re also keeping an eye on one of our tires, which was a bit low when we crossed the border at Ramotswa yesterday.
