We haven’t had the best luck with internet since our last post, so there’s a lot to catch up on. Currently we are at Ngepi Camp heading west on the Caprivi Strip in Zambezi Region in Namibia. We’ve spent two days here and leave for Simanya River Lodge tomorrow morning.
We have had amazing adventures in Chobe NP (Botswana) and Bwabwata NP (Namibia)—buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and crocodile, and lions roaring at night in the distance. Irritating flies and overwhelming heat. There is a lot to share, so there will soon be a flurry of posts!
We’re hoping to have a better connection in Epupa Falls later this week so that we can upload pictures and video. In the meantime, know that we are doing well, dripping sweat in the humid nights next to the river, hoping not to get malaria and being kept awake by the snorting hippos.
