Who We Are…
Richard is a retired firefighter/paramedic. He spent decades working in the U.S. as a first responder. In his off time, he traveled just about everywhere. After retiring from the fire department, he worked in the U.S. in emergency and urgent care, as well as in health clinics in Kenya, Uganda and the Philippines. After all that, you can imagine he has a lot of stories to tell!
I’m a former librarian. I lived in Dublin in the late 80’s and taught English in the Czech Republic in the early 90’s. I love learning about people, places, languages and everything nature related.
In 2020, Richard and I started traveling together. Our first adventure was getting stuck in Peru in March 2020 when Covid hit. That’s the beginning of the our story!
